Dean Thomson is a Commercial Finance Director at Sedulo, specialising in Debt Advisory and supporting ambitious businesses, entrepreneurs and investors with strategic funding solutions.

With extensive experience across both banking and intermediary markets, Dean brings a deep understanding of the commercial finance landscape and how to structure capital in a way that enables sustainable growth. He works closely with clients to deliver tailored funding strategies, supporting a wide range of requirements including cashflow finance, asset finance, invoice finance and property finance.

Dean has a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Prior to joining Sedulo, he was Commercial Director at a UK brokerage, where he established and scaled the firm’s commercial division — delivering record financial performance in its 15-year history.

At Sedulo, Dean plays a key role in developing the firm’s Specialist Debt Advisory offering, working as part of a fully integrated advisory team alongside experts in Corporate Finance, Tax, Accounting and Deal Advisory. His approach is relationship-led and commercially focused, ensuring funding strategies are aligned with clients’ wider business objectives.

As Sedulo continues its growth, Dean is also supporting the development of cross-border funding relationships, helping clients navigate opportunities between the UK and international markets.
