Toast Southern, who hail from Stockbridge, have worked with Sedulo’s Jack Christian to utilise funding lines in a variety of ways – something which Toast’s Mark Abbey says has been crucial to their growth.

“Over the past year I have been working with Jack from Sedulo and together we have managed to move my business forward with the cash injection that Jack has managed to sort out for me.”, Mark said.

“The money raised helped me to secure a couple of large projects with the purchase of specialised equipment.”

Toast Southern were the first company to work with Jack after he joined the Manchester-based alternative funding specialist in May 2017, and the success of the project has led to more transactions throughout the past year as Toast set their sites on growing their business further.

Mark added:

“I now employ an extra two members of staff who started with me at the beginning of the year, and with the money raised I have managed to put them through training and equip them with the tools and vans needed for the job.”

The continual work with the likes of Toast have a wider meaning for Jack, as May 2018 marked his 100th business funded since starting with the firm – working out at nearly one every other business day – as he looks to cement his place as one of the go-to guys for funding across the North West and beyond.

On the anniversary, Jack said:

“The last 12 months have been great.

”Before I joined I was told I’d get the opportunity to be working with a wide range of businesses of all shapes and sizes across multiple industries and that’s exactly how it’s panned out.

“Hearing success stories like Mark’s is what makes our business work and it makes the hours the funding team put into their customer service worth it.”
