Funding a child’s Christmas this year through the Sedulo Christmas Toy Appeal

Every year, the Sedulo Christmas Toy Appeal works with charities and carers in the local communities to find the children hit hardest at Christmas.

Shockingly, over half a million young children live in poverty in the UK through no fault of their own. A time of the year where this reality hits home hardest for these children and their families is at Christmas, where budgets are too tight to even stretch to a gift to open from Santa.

The Christmas Toy Appeal aims to get straight to those children. We have teamed up with local Manchester, Leeds and London charities to change Christmas for them through sponsorship. Simply head to, select a child’s name you would like to sponsor and buy them a gift based on their interests (we recommend an amount of around £25).

Our reverse style Santa’s Grotto event will take place on Tuesday 10th December in our Manchester Regency Club and Wednesday 11th December in our Leeds Ambler Club, where we will be hosting a gathering of clients, colleagues, family and friends for a fun-filled afternoon to hand the sponsored gifts to Father Christmas to ensure each child receives their gift on Christmas morning. Everyone ho supports the event is invited to join us!

Here’s how last year’s reverse grotto unfolded…

Helping 250 children in Manchester, Leeds and London is the target for 2019, and as of now the Sedulo Christmas Toy Appeal is officially open. Head here to find out how you can get involved and make Christmas for a child who, without you, wouldn’t ordinarily get one…
